The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in C#/.NET, REST APIs, SQL, and application development and is comfortable working directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
This environment includes a variety of technologies, so we are looking for someone who is adaptable, curious, and comfortable learning new platforms. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Power Platform is beneficial but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, configure, and support CRM and other business applications.
- Build and maintain applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, and/or .NET Core.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs to enable communication between business applications and systems.
- Design, develop, and support application integrations.
- Write and maintain SQL queries for application functionality, troubleshooting, and data needs.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and technology requirements.
- Gather, document, and analyze functional and system requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Participate in application design discussions and recommend practical technical solutions.
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, functional specifications, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and business users throughout the application development lifecycle.
- Participate in functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot application issues and work with technical team members to determine root causes and solutions.
- Support application deployments, releases, and post-production validation.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology and automation.
- Help address technical debt, application inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Participate in Agile activities such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience in application development, functional development, systems analysis, business systems analysis, or a related technical role.
- Hands-on development experience with C# and .NET.
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC and/or .NET Core.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
- Experience developing or integrating REST APIs.
- Experience with application and systems integration.
- Working knowledge of SQL and SQL queries.
- Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical application solutions.
- Experience working in a Windows-based technical environment.
- Experience with or exposure to Microsoft Azure.
- Ability to work across multiple technologies and learn unfamiliar applications and platforms.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Dynamics 365.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Apps.
- Familiarity with Power Automate and/or Dataverse.
- Experience supporting or developing custom CRM or business applications.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
What You'll Bring to the Team
Beyond technical ability, this team highly values reliability, adaptability, communication, and work ethic. We are looking for a developer who is willing to jump in, help solve problems, and take ownership of their work.
The successful candidate will be comfortable both writing code and talking with business users. You should enjoy understanding the business problem behind a request, asking thoughtful questions, and determining the best way to solve it through technology.
This is a strong opportunity for a mid-level developer who enjoys variety and wants exposure to multiple technologies rather than being limited to a single platform.
